Douglas County, Wisconsin

Douglas County is located in extreme Northwest Wisconsin. It is named for former Illinois Senator Stephen Douglas.

The seat and largest city is Superior.

It borders Bayfield, Sawyer, Washburn and Burnett Counties in Wisconsin, along with Pine, Carlton, St. Louis and Lake Counties in Minnesota. It also borders Lake Superior.
